How to Change the Startup Sound in Ubuntu

In recent years we have seen many changes from Ubuntu, The new theme, new fonts to the new desktop environment Unity. One of the things that has not changed is the Startup sound that is the sound you hear when you receive our desktop environment that is to indicate that the Operating System is started.
The startup sound in recent years has remained as it was, surely many people will have a bit tired but we can also replace it with a new sound warning to our pleasure.

We can change the Startup sound of Ubuntu with a song such as the upcoming holiday season, or put a Startup sound of Christmas etc.
Here's how ...

Are changing the Startup of Ubuntu is very simple you must first create it and save it in the format .ogg ,to convert an audio file in .ogg there are many applications dedicated among them we can use such Mobile Media Converter also available in online version.

Once we have the file .ogg rename it desktop-login.ogg and move into our home.

At this point, we start our terminal and the first thing save a copy of the sound startup by default to restore them on a second time to do just a terminal type:
sudo mv /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/desktop-login.ogg /opt
and then always a terminal type:
sudo cp desktop-login.ogg /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/
at this point to restarts Ubuntu we will have the new startup sound created by us.

For restore the default Startup sound Just launch the terminal and type:
sudo rm /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/desktop-login.ogg
sudo mv /opt/desktop-login.ogg /usr/share/sounds/ubuntu/stereo/
and we will have restored Startup sound of default.
